My name is Dorian Lynn. I am a Registered Nurse with over twenty years of healthcare experience, a Reiki Master, and an Intuitive Mystic Healer. I created Mystic Medicine Boutique to bridge a gap I witnessed repeatedly throughout my nursing career: people experiencing profound spiritual collapse often had nowhere to turn that felt both spiritually meaningful and grounded in real-world crisis understanding.
This work exists for the moments when life becomes too big for ordinary advice.
What Is a Spiritual Emergency?
A spiritual emergency occurs when a life event overwhelms the systems that previously provided meaning, stability, identity, or direction.
The emergency may be triggered by illness, loss, betrayal, rejection, financial hardship, relationship breakdown, spiritual awakening, or a major life transition. What makes it different from ordinary stress is that the disruption reaches beyond circumstances and begins affecting the way a person understands themselves, their future, their purpose, or their place in the world.
Many people experiencing spiritual emergency describe feeling as though the foundation beneath their life has disappeared.
The old answers no longer work.
The old identity no longer fits.
And the path forward feels impossible to see.
Those are the moments this work was built to support.
Why I Created Mystic Medicine Boutique
Long before Mystic Medicine Boutique existed, I spent decades working in healthcare and supporting people through crisis.
I witnessed firsthand what happens when life changes in an instant. Health scares. Unexpected diagnoses. Losses that alter the direction of a person's future. The moments that divide life into before and after.
Again and again, I noticed that medical care could address the physical crisis while leaving the spiritual emergency untouched.
People were surviving medically while struggling emotionally, spiritually, and existentially.
Then I experienced my own spiritual emergency.
During a serious health challenge, I found myself confronting many of the same questions I had witnessed in others. Questions about meaning, identity, fear, purpose, uncertainty, and what comes next when life no longer follows the path you expected.
I relied on my nursing training, spiritual practices, Reiki experience, intuitive guidance, and years of crisis observation to navigate that season.
When I emerged from it, I knew the work I was meant to create.
Mystic Medicine Boutique became the resource I wished had existed when I needed it most.
The Approach Behind This Work
Everything you find here is shaped by two perspectives working together.
The first comes from more than twenty years of nursing experience and healthcare crisis assessment.
The second comes from years of Reiki practice, spiritual study, intuitive development, and direct work with people experiencing profound spiritual challenges.
Neither perspective replaces the other.
Together they create a framework that recognizes both the practical realities of crisis and the spiritual dimensions that often accompany it.
That is why you will see clear safety guidance, appropriate professional boundaries, and evidence-informed information alongside spiritual practices, intuitive insight, Reiki-based perspectives, and soul-centered support.
The goal is not to choose between science and spirituality.
